Pursuant to Art. 13 of the GDPR, CesUE - Centro studi, formazione, comunicazione e progettazione sull’Unione Europea e la global governance, as data controller, informs you that the personal data relating to your person, present in our database will be processed in compliance with the applicable legislation and the principles of fairness, lawfulness, transparency and protection of your privacy and your rights.

  1. Navigation data
    The computer systems and software used within this site acquire, in the course of normal operation, certain data that are then implicitly transmitted in the use of Internet communication protocols. (This category of data includes: the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site; the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation addresses of the resources requested, the time zone of the IP device used for access and other parameters relating to the operating system and the computer environment of the device used by the user).

Place of data processing and storage

The data processing takes place at the operational headquarters of CESUE SRL exclusively by the technical staff of the Office in charge of data processing. The personal data collected will be kept, in complete form, for a period of time not exceeding the achievement of the purposes for which they were obtained. Personal data sent by users of the website for information, registration and assistance regarding CesUE's activities, events and projects will be kept for a longer period of time, pursuant to Articles 5 paragraph 1 letter e) and 89 paragraph 1 of EU Reg. 2016/679. The European Commission awarded an Altiero Spinelli Prize for Outreach to the Appeal “A genuine European Union to ensure welfare, security and democracy” promoted by CesUE co-founder and director, Roberto Castaldi, together with Giuliano Amato, Yves Bertoncini, Stefan Collignon, Anthony Giddens, Ulrike Guerot e Miguel Maduro.

The Appeal was signed by over 500 European Academics and published by the main newspapers all over Europe on February 2017 in view of the March for Europe on March 25 in Rome.

CesUE co-organised, with the Appeal promoters, the Convention “A genuine European Union to ensure welfare, security and democracy” in Rome on March 24 with the participation of Estonian Prime Minister Jüri Ratas, former Italian Prime Ministers Enrico Letta and Mario Monti, the President of the Committee of the Regions Markku Markkula, former French Minister of the economy Edmond Alphandery, the President of the International European Movement Jo Leinen, and many other personalities.
